Job Overview:
As a Sanitation Specialist at Castleton Home Care, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients' homes are clean, safe, and comfortable. You will be responsible for performing a range of cleaning tasks, from general housekeeping to specialized cleaning tailored to the unique needs of elderly clients. You will work independently, manage your time efficiently, and communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Conduct deep cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, and other high-use areas.
• Use eco-friendly cleaning products and specialized equipment, such as HEPA filter vacuums.
• Organize and declutter spaces to create safe and comfortable living environments.
• Follow infection control and sanitization protocols to maintain a healthy home environment.
• Identify and report any safety hazards or maintenance needs to management.
• Communicate effectively with clients, particularly elderly clients or those with special needs, to ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
• Manage time effectively to complete tasks within the scheduled timeframe.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in professional cleaning, housekeeping, or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality service.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
• Knowledge of eco-friendly cleaning practices and products is a plus.
• Must pass a background check and have reliable transportation.
